Contract Drafting & Review

Management & Consulting

OVERVIEW:

Harvey Wurie’s Contract Group routinely represents medical professionals, entertainers, and business owners in the drafting, negotiating, and reviewing of contracts. We have a deep familiarity with the applicable laws regarding enforcement. There are numerous contracts that we all engage in daily. Most contracts are complex and difficult to understand. Choosing an attorney to draft and review your contract is one of the most important business decisions that you could make to help identify and eradicate your risk exposure. Since a properly drafted contract is the first line of defense in any future legal dispute, we ensure clients take precautions during the formation stage to protect their interests. Harvey Wurie’s experience, knowledge, and negotiating skills help you create a contract that gives you the edge and provides assurance that your deal will be completed smoothly.

We also have an active counseling practice, advising clients on topics such as the application of machine learning and innovative approaches for managing and administering contracts, such as:

Automation: Automation is the key step in creating an efficient contract management process. We help in the building of automated systems, workflow processes, and the scaling of personalized automated systems.

Analytics: We help to determine the key metrics that help measure the effectiveness of your contract workflow process. A few metrics include: 1) How many contracts are signed per month; 3) which person/entity tends to slow down the process; and 4) which portions of most contracts are frequently negotiated?

Template review: We frequently review the automated templates our clients generate to assess them for efficiencies and improvements.

Integrations: Most forward-thinking businesses consider integrating their contract workflow with other systems like Workato, HelloSign, and Docusign. However, these integrations need to work effectively, and the workflow process has to continue during the initial workout. We help during both the testing and rollout stages.

Our consulting goal is to assist businesses to self-serve their contract needs, rather than needing a law firm, or legal department to support them.

FAQs:

Contracts involving the following:
